Whilst technical and production methods may vary, all of the wine producers strive to produce high quality and consistent wines. Historically, the Committee of Vinsobres Wine Producers represents and defends the interests of the appellation’s independent wineries and wine growers. The region’s producers include experienced winemakers, young winemakers and female winemakers. The appellation is not short of big personalities!
Whilst undeniably dedicated and ambitious, the region’s young winemakers are not seeking to upset the established hierarchy. Quite the opposite in fact, as the different generations of wine producers work hand in glove to achieve their shared objectives. The older generation of wine producers understands and is able to manage the vicissitudes of their terroir in order to maximise its potential. The younger winemakers leave further education having learnt the latest sales and communication techniques through internships abroad.
This results in a combination of skills and abilities and contributes to the gradual development of a successful intergenerational mix.
